We've met so many deserving and desperate people throughout our time in Corrego da Volta. Most people live with 5-10 family members in collapsing mud/stick houses, stung by wasps at night while they sleep, and their dirt floors are frequently flooded by torrential downpours up here near the Amazon. Not awesome, but a very easy fix for us ... we want to help families through Hear the Cry: Brazil with new brick homes! They’ll have concrete floors, brick and mortar walls and clay shingle roofs.
