A quick update to let folks know exactly where we are in the process.

Our homestudy was completed end of July. Our I-800a approval from USCIS (United States Customs & Immigration Services) was granted the end of September. (This is a requirement for international adoptions to prove that we are eligible to adopt.)

Our Belizean attorney is starting our application to petition for adoption of the children, and for a Waiver of Contact which will allow us to have contact with the children and the orphanage, which we have not been able to do since we began this process.
