About this Fundraiser

Our local middle school is in dire need of books!

Because our school is located in an impoverished neighborhood where the families can scarcely afford to feed and clothe their children, when the annual book fair rolls around no one can purchase any books. And purchased books = free books for the school.

We would love to raise $4000 to GIFT a book fair to the school.

The funds would be spent to set up a book fair where the 250 kids can "shop" for a book that interests them and also to purchase books for library and classroom use.

We love our school and the community that surrounds it. We live here intentionally to reach our neighbors with the hope of the Gospel while tangibly sowing seeds of hope in the ways we seek to love our people, right where they are.

My husband and I write more about our story here at http://loriharris.me
