Adoption Update No. 6
Our dossier is being translated by our in country rep in Colombia!!!! Then it will be sent to the adoption committee for approval, and next step is for a referral of a child. Currently, we have to finish some trainings for our agency that we have to do before travel. While we are waiting, we need to send a small gift to Colombia for our future child(ren), which includes a small gift, photo album, and letter from us . On another note, we are still applying for grants and waiting on responses for grants. Our goal is to raise $20,000 for the adoption. The adoption itself will be around $33,000+ or closer to $40,000 if we get two. To date we have fundraised, $11,599.00, so we are a little over halfway to our goal. To date, our expenses have totaled $17,420.79.

ADOPT A PUZZLE PIECE: We would love for our friends and family will help complete a puzzle and be a part of our adoption of our future daughter. We have a 200 piece puzzle that we would like to put together - with your help! Each donation of $25 will sponsor one puzzle piece. For every piece sponsored, we will write the donor’s name on the back of the piece. (Ex. $25 donation=1 puzzle piece, $50 donation=2 puzzle pieces)
Once completed, the puzzle will be framed in between glass so you can see both sides and when our child is older we will be able to show her all of the people that loved her so much before they even knew her. We will post updated pictures of the progress of our puzzle, as well as updated details of our adoption journey.
To date we have 15 pieces left.
