After being home for only 10 days, it is evident to me of the "fast paced life" we live in in the US. I must say even with the busyness of doing the Lord's work in Rwanda, there is a much decreased level of stress and a "laid back atmosphere" that is most appealing. That is what I would wish to bring home to each of you!!!!!!!!
Our mission was a successful one with many prayers being answered. I thank you for covering me and the team. When you have a group of 12 ( not everyone knew each other ) it can sometimes create situations that are unpleasant and unity is broken but that wasn't the case with us. We "geled" together as one and were in unity the entire trip as God was working in us as individuals . . . stretching us and teaching us more about our relationship with Him.
Because of His faithfulness to our obedience to go, we reaped a harvest of new believers who were ready to receive the good news that their sins could be forgiven, the burden of guilt removed and the presence of the Holy Spirit in them was now giving them a confident Hope of eternal life with Him. Just seeing the faces of these new baby Christians brings a smile to my face.
As a team, we had 408 professions of faith and 149 new believers were trained to share their faith and continue the work of spreading the gospel in Rwanda.
I have no adequate words to fully express my appreciation for your prayers, support and belief in the mission so I am asking God to bless you and supply you with all you need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. I pray that the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
I do not know what the year ahead is for any of us but should the Lord call me to return once again to Rwanda, I pray you will once again join me.     Blessings, bette
