Rwanda is infamous for the 1994 Genocide that began on April 7th lasting 100 days, killing over 800,000 people. It is difficult to imagine that for 100 days, 8,000 people were killed everyday! Bill Clinton admits that his response or lack of response to the genocide was the “biggest policy mistake” of his presidency.

The goal of e3 Partners in Rwanda is to reach every hilltop and valley in “The Land of a Thousand Hills” with the gospel of Jesus Christ and to make disciples that make disciples. Since 2005, e3 Partners has come alongside the Rwandan church and helped plant thousands of churches in the “hard to reach” places that would be forgotten.

Rwanda consists of 30 districts in 4 provinces (plus Kigali). As of 2016, there are two districts remaining to reach with the gospel of Jesus Christ. In 2017, our expedition team will be working in an eastern province, in Bugesera, approximately 25 miles from Kigali. The area has a higher average daytime temperature than the Rwandan average, and lower precipitation, which sometimes leads to droughts.
