Our boys

It’s strange to write that, as if something can be yours that you’ve never seen, or actually had. But they are ours, in our hearts, in our minds, in our everyday thoughts and discussions.   We still can’t share much about them with you but I thought I would share what we can so you too can get to know them.

L & M are two precious, beautiful brothers. L is 7 and will be 8 this year. He is quiet and joyful. He likes puzzles & legos. He is physically fit and enjoys playing soccer and riding bikes. He is very caring towards his brother and plays well with his peers.  L has spent half his life in the orphanage and needs the love, stability and security of a family. M is 3 and will be 4 soon.   M’s smile could light up a room. He is charming and loves individual attention and to be cuddled and hugged. He was born prematurely and placed in the Orphanage at less than 1 month old. He wears a hearing aid and has some speech delays. He has spent nearly his entire life in the orphanage and has never experienced the love, attention and affection of a family.

We have been praying daily for these boys for over 6 months, as we processed paperwork and waited for approval and to be matched with them. We are blessed to have been chosen to bring these boys into our family, to love them, teach them, celebrate them for who they are and help them reach their full potential.

We are grateful for your prayers, especially for the boys as they prepare to leave the only life they’ve known and join our family. Our paperwork will be at the final stage of approval with the Polish Ministry soon and this last step can take up to 3 months. We are hopeful for a quick approval!
