Our homestudy has been approved and is on its way to AAC and to us! We are so excited that this part is finally finished and we can get our I800A form sent off and wait for approval to adopt.

We have cancelled the "GoFundMe" fundraiser and switched to this fundraiser on "PureCharity." This site allows the donor to make a tax deductible donation. The donation also goes directly to AAC, our adoption agency in Colorado, who will then apply it to payments that we must make. We couldn't set this fundraiser up until after our homestudy was completed. I think this option is a much better option, and allows the funds to go directly to AAC. For those that have already donated, the funds have been used to pay the 2nd agency costs and for AAC to put our dossier together. The total for that was $3,050. We have also paid the USCIS I800A fee which is $890. All of this was received by AAC on Saturday, May 23. The funds were deposited yesterday into their account.
