Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you all know that I made it back to Southern today! (At 1am, actually, yay for sleepless nights and lots of fun driving memories with friends! ;) ).

Thank you again for supporting me on this trip. It was absolutely AMAZING - yes traveling the nation having a "blast with the past" - but more importantly just letting God use me in His service in a way that I've never done before. It was such a privilege and honor to share Jesus - share joy - with the kids and staff at La Vida Mission. They were so friendly and appreciative of our coming for a week!

I had the chance to work both in the greenhouse there as well as in constructing the new gym addition that will house a kitchen, bathrooms, and a storage area. My favorite part of the trip would be leading out in the week of prayer with the kids where we shared some great Bible stories. We talked about how everyone is unique and special in God's sight (Jeremiah and Isaiah), how God is with us in our suffering (Joseph) and how we can always trust in God (Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednago).

Also, for those interested :D , I was able to capture quite a bit of video and pictures! It was so fun and fulfilling to a) film in a part of the country that I hadn't filmed in before, and b) film an activity (mission trip) that I had never filmed before. I will definitely send you all the links to all that just as soon as I get done editing everything!

There were so many other great parts of the trip that I don't have time to share about now but totally want to! So keep an eye on your inbox as I will be posting many more updates in the coming weeks.
