I have my LOA (Letter of Approval)!!! The wait was longer than I anticipated but it came today! I am overjoyed.
Next step is a send in a bunch more paper work to USCIS (Unites State Customes and Immigration Service). This is to give Evy Lu citizen statues and for immigration. I have approval to adopt a child from China. This step matches that approval with her. After this step I apply for her VISA and then the VISA goes through several steps here and to China to connect to her. I don't understand all the next steps and why or how they work. I just know the LOA was the biggest and longest wait!
It looks like I will travel the middle of October to meet her and bring her home. If all goes as planned will leave October 11th, the 16th I will meet her and have her in my arms and come home on the 27th or 28th. 3 more months but they should move quickly!
