2019 ADRA Connections Extreme Trip to Cusco, Peru
I heard about this trip through a friend and immediately prayed for God to open the door if it is His will for me to serve on this trip. I asked Him to specifically show me through one avenue, and sure enough, He opened the door. I am beyond honored and humbled to serve with ADRA in this amazing project in the beautiful land of Peru!
This is going to be the largest collegiate volunteer trip ever. We will have nearly 300 students
from U.S high schools, colleges, and universities from the United States and South America. This may sound like a big group, but our project is massive. We are going to finish building a three-story elementary school in the
mountain community of Chillihuani, just south of Cusco,
My desire and intentions for this trip is to give myself fully each and every day; spiritually, physically, culturally, socially, and mentally to everyone I am surrounded by. I vow to serving with everything I have and not withhold what God has given me.
I am so excited to help bring an opportunity of education in the mountain of Chillihuani for all the children. C.S Lewis stated, "The task of the modern educator is not to cut down jungles, but to irrigate deserts". It is humbling to be a part of that growth for many children's future.
I would like to kindly ask for your dedicated prayers as we prepare for our trip in July. Lastly, if you feel impressed upon your heart, to give a donation to fund all the needs necessary so that I can serve. Thank you so much for taking the time to pray and support me in this project of service! You are greatly appreciated and loved.
We are blessed to be a blessing!
