In May 2017 I went to Grand Goâve, Haiti for the first time and this summer I'm returning for a third trip; this time with Tree of Hope Haiti (TOHH). Tree of Hope has a sponsorship program, clean water project, a home building project and aims to create jobs for Haitians.

Education is not free in Haiti and one of TOHH's major impacts is their sponsorship program- this is also the project I'll be helping! We will be assisting with the 3rd annual TOHH Summer Camp by working with the kids in the community to further their Math and English skills through games, crafts, reading, writing, etc. During the afternoons, we get to see the community of Grand-Goâve, through home visits, a beach trip, and more!

The summer camp has been such a hit and I'm so excited to return to Grand Goâve and see the friends I've made, go to church with the community members and help continue the kids education through the summer!
