As of June 2020 we became homestudy approved and as on July 2020 we became active adoptive parents seeking adoption opportunities with American Adoptions.  We have been in contact with a birth mother since June 2020 and she is due in December 2020
.  We were in the middle of one of our many fundraisers and when advertising in Katie's hometown a classmate of hers contacted her about a friend who is expecting a baby and is interested in putting up her unborn up for adoption.  We agreed to meet a few weeks later and we agreed to move forward with her.  Birthmom found out in July that shes expecting a girl and we have agreed on a name. She has begun her steps towards adoption with our adoption agency and are anxiously awaiting our match paperwork that should come any day.
