Woke up this morning to an email from our adoption lawyer with paperwork for us to sign.  With 7 days left until baby Isla's due date this is really hitting home that we are one step closer to baby time!  Work put on a baby shower for us this week and it is amazing reading the cards and seeing the amount of support we have from everyone. 
Our birthmom even made an announcement for our friends/family:
" I can basically imagine u know family and friends is in love with u guys getting a child finally.  I'm glad u guys have such a big loving support group/family.  Def makes me happy to know for certain Isla has a home n ppl that already love her,"
Make us feel loved, this journey has been in the works since March 2020 and met our birthmom in June 2020.  I'm sure I have talked so much about this process that I feel like I am on repeat but we cannot be more excited to add to our family.
