We have Angelica’s American birth certificate! I picked up official copies yesterday so the only paperwork we are still waiting on is her certificate of citizenship. Please pray that we get the certificate of citizenship before we leave for MN. Our mail will be forwarded in a little over 2 weeks but the certificate would not be forwarded; it would be sent back to USCIS.

Yesterday morning our oldest daughter, Zoey, left with 60 other youth from our church to drive to Cedar Rapids, Iowa. They will be working with Mission of Hope this coming Monday through Friday. We would appreciate prayer for health and safety for all on the trip and that God will use the trip to help each person grow in their walks with Him and that they would each bless others. Pray for our four children still at home missing their oldest sister for 10 days. Angelica did not want Zoey to leave and it was very important for her to go with to “see her off” yesterday. We have been praying that God will give Angelica peace and comfort as this may be bringing up memories and emotions of separation from her past.

Pray also that while big sister is away God will use this time for Angelica and Mekenzie to become closer. Angelica is now the oldest sister at home so we pray she will be able to enjoy that role and learn more about the responsibility of a big sister.

Pray that God will give me time and energy to complete the 6 month report, get ready for our social worker visit on June 14, continue homeschooling, and pack for our vacation. Wow! It has already been 6 months since we adopted Angelica! The time has gone so fast and she continues to blend into our family very well! We praise the Lord for all He has done!

Continue to pray for Angelica’s salvation. We have been able to have several discussions lately and she will be attending VBS with our children starting June 12. She is very happy to have her new Bibles in Russian and English.

Thank you for all of your prayers. Angelica enjoyed her birthday at Discovery Bay waterpark. We were so tired by the time we got home that we decided to open presents the next morning. She struggled with that decision because she was excited to open presents but in the end she was happy with waiting so she had 4 days of celebration!
