Aldridge Adoption Update June 11, 2016

"Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.” Psalm 147:5
God continues to answer our prayers to have a speedy adoption process. Early last week our adoption agency told us that it looked doubtful we would get to travel to Ukraine at the end of July or even early August because immigration approval could take up to two months. We prayed for God’s timing to be faster than that since our FBI report expires on July 27. All paperwork, including immigration approval, has to be translated and ready for processing in Ukraine prior to July 27 or we will have to redo our fingerprints and get a new FBI report. The final piece was our biometrics for immigration. We received our letter for it in the mail last Friday. The appointment was yesterday morning and it went smoothly and much quicker than we anticipated. Now we are praying that immigration processing will be done quickly and we will receive our approval within two weeks. That would give us enough time to go to our adoption agency to have the immigration affidavit notarized and sent to the secretary of state prior to our host daughter arriving on July 1.
All of our other international paperwork has been notarized and submitted this past Monday. All that is left is our immigration approval. God answered our prayers and the prayers of family and friends. He has helped us get so much done and we know He will continue to work out all the details in His timing and for His glory! We have had two more fundraisers and another one will end next week. God is providing in ways that we never would have thought He would. Thank you to those of you who participated in the jewelry party and/or the online silent auction. A special thank you to those who helped arrange the fundraisers and to those who donated items for the silent auction. Thank you to those who may buy essential oils during that fundraiser. Our family has felt loved by so many!
We are getting excited to meet our host daughter in three weeks! Please pray for her safety as she travels! Thank you for your continued support and prayers!
