My name is Alan Olson. I am 11 years old. I live in Minnesota. I LOVE to read! This summer I decided to participate in the BOOKS for BRICKS PWE Read-a-Thon and read 100 books to help raise money for a library in Shanto, Ethiopia. You see there is no library in Shanto right now. I know the kids in Shanto really want a library. Partners With Ethiopia is helping them build a library. My goal is to have people pledge per book. My goal is to raise $100 per book. 

100 x 100 = 10,000

I want to raise $10,000 to help finish the Shanto Library building. You can either donate a flat amount or you can pledge per book. Please see the chart below to see how much to give.

Also, I am a really good and fast reader. I will definitely read 100 books, don't worry!

$.10 per book = $10 donation

$.25 per book = $25 donation

$.50 per book = $50 donation

$1.00 per book = $100 donation

$5.00 per book = $500 donation

$10.00 per book = $1,000 donation (hey, I can dream!)
