If you have made your way to this page, you probably know the wonderful news...we are growing our family through adoption! We want to thank you for taking the time to view our profile and learn more about our adoption journey. 

On July 18, 2019, Maggie and I prayed for God to reveal to us if it is His will for us to adopt. We have talked about adoption throughout our marriage but that evening we felt it was time for us to pray for God’s wisdom, guidance, and confirmation.

Over this past year, it became abundantly clear that God had placed upon our hearts a desire to grow our family through adoption. It has not only become something we want but something for which we have a burden for. There is nothing that excites us more to love and parent our future child.

We have spent a large portion of this past year, growing in our knowledge of the adoption journey. We have shared numerous meals with adoptive parents, scheduled phone meetings with experts, and allowed God to guide us through prayer and His Word. Therefore, we have realized that adoption is not something you do alone. It requires a community. In other words, it takes a village. So, we are asking you to join us on the adoption journey.

Here are a couple of ways we would love for you to participate in our adoption journey:

First and most importantly, prayer. Throughout this journey, we are leaning on God's provision and wisdom. Although adoption is exciting and beautiful, it is hard. So much is out of our control, but everything is in God's control. We are trusting Him. Simply put—we need your prayers.

We are praying for His wisdom, strength, and patience as we walk through this adoption journey. Above all, join us as we pray fervently for our future child and their biological family. Jesus knows their names and circumstance. 

Second, as part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding page. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs can be insurmountable. But, we won't allow funding to keep us from moving forward with adoption. God has called us to adopt and we will see it fully realized one joyous day. 

We hope that by inviting you into this journey, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
