We have a date!

We have gotten a court date and are making our travel plans! Barring any delays we could have sweet little "Baby A" home before the end of the year!  

Many people have asked what this means and what all is involved, so here is the run down:
Week 1 - meet with Birth family & "baby A" in person for the first time!
Week 2 - court date (that's THE date) where everything is reviewed by the judge who will make the decision if we can legally gain custody of "Baby A"
Week 3 - await the "Interstate Compact" which allows travel between states so we can take her home

While in the adoption process 100% sure is not something we'd ever expect, we continue to walk confidently knowing that God has been at work leading us through every step.  He has brought us to this point and are so excited to see what is next!  Please pray for a steady course and for all the travel plans to fall into place.
