Many sponsors ask us, "Can I send a gift to my sponsored child?". The answer is YES! 

Like last year, we are again planning to purchase new clothing and shoes for the children. For many of the kids this will be the only new clothing or pair of shoes they receive this year. Last year they were delighted to receive brand new dresses, shoes, sneakers, jeans and shirts. 

It costs approximately $20 to provide a child with a set of quality clothing that will last through vigorous hand washing and scrubbing, and $20 for a sturdy new pair of shoes. For a gift of $40, FOVC can purchase both shoes and clothing for your child. Not only does your child benefit, but purchasing these items locally is good for the economy and helps sustain jobs in the area.
