We have decided to adopt Jason, the incredible boy we hosted from China over the winter. We are so thrilled to welcome him into our family! Our two boys are so excited to have a big brother, and we are eager to add another son to the mix. In China, children age out of the adoption system by age 14. Jason will be turning 13 in April and the adoption process takes roughly a year, so it is imperative that we work quickly to bring him home as soon as possible. Thankfully he does not have any pressing medical needs, but living here in America will be enormously better for the issues he will need further treatment for in the next few years. We are grateful to have resources that will allow us to provide for his needs, but we have to get him home first!
