We are adopting a child!

We have come to a new step in our life journey. We have tried IVF and it was not for us. Now that we have our own home in Minnesota and two cats and two beagles, we want to add a new human! We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $10,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. We selected an agency in South Carolina called Quiver Full Adoptions. These women are very kind, and they understand that adopting can be expensive. One agency even quoted us approximately $60,000! So the Quiver Full agency states that an average adoption through them is approximately $12,000. The biggest obstacle to adoption for most families is the cost. Many people would love to bring a child into their home, but can not afford to.

Jack and I got married in August of 2014. From the start of our marriage, we have been on the IVF wagon. Everything we did revolved around expanding our family. We have visited doctors all across the United States, and we have lived in locations all across the United States as well. Now that we have settled into our own home, it is time to add to it!
