As you may know, I've traveled to Haiti on mission trips twice in the past two years. In those trips, I've grown a love for the people and their country, and I desire to see all of Haiti transformed by the love and hope of Jesus!
I love when I get to go--it's an utter privilege to be the hands and feet of Jesus down there. But I have a unique (albeit crazy, silly, and fairly difficult) opportunity to help from afar by running a race from Huntington Beach to San Diego, together with a team of 11 other crazy people.
This coming April 12-13, I'll be running the epic, overnight, non-stop, 200-mile "Ragnar" relay race as Team Chanje in support of the Chanje Movement's work in the country of Haiti. The funds we raise will help us bring aid, a hope and a future to the country of Haiti, especially the 60+ children in our 2 shelters down there, through community transformation and revival.
MORE ABOUT HAITI AND THE CHANJE MOVEMENT PARTNERSHIP: In the last year through the Chanje Movement in Haiti, thousands had continuous access to clean water and received emergency meals, 500 leaders received training, 75 youth received regular primary and secondary school education, five homes were built, businesses were launched and many jobs created. We are helping Haitians be the Heroes, thanks to the generosity of donors and volunteers. We are eager to see the growth that continues to take place in 2019 and beyond. Haiti, like much of the world, is in need of change. We believe that God can bring help and hope to the nations, and that He will do that through the hands and feet of people. Together, we are committed to raising movements of change in the cities, towns and villages of the world.
I need your help! Would you please consider throwing a buck or two toward this race to help aid and give to the children and people of Haiti. And lucky you--you don't even have to exercise for this one!
Thanks for your continued support of this beautiful country and these beautiful people!
