Friends, Family, and Community,

Thank you so much for visiting my page, and prayerfully considering supporting the journey!

Last summer, I had the unbelievable opportunity to travel to Ethiopia on a short-term discipleship trip with other young adults from Watermark Community Church.  Our team partnered with Ethiopian brothers & sisters to love, encourage, and build up the Christian Church in small villages near Nazert, Ethiopia.  It was an all-around stunning experience as we shared the Gospel through translators, disciple makers, and the native people.  We were able to witness God at work in the lives and hearts of numerous people, both the Ethiopians as well as my team.  I’m overjoyed as I meditate on that week.  My faith was challenged and stretched, but I’ve never felt more peace in being utterly powerless.  The Lord completely captivated my heart for Ethiopia and the people we were able to share, rejoice, and mourn with.  This trip was the sweetest gift I could have hoped for.

I’m excited to announce that I’ve been given the privilege to anniversary this trip to Ethiopia.  I’m ecstatic to travel back this July with another group from Watermark.  Our desire is to love on the people of Ethiopia and share the Gospel with people who have never heard of the name Christ before.  As I prepare for the upcoming trip, I’ve been meditating on a few verses & would be honored for you to join me in prayer:

-        ‘Be still and know that I am God’ – Psalm 46:10

-        ‘But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.’ – Acts 20:24

-        ‘Through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of His name among all the nations, including you who are called to belong to Jesus Christ’ Romans 1:5-6

The total trip cost is $3950 & much of it is due on March 1st.  These funds go toward transportation, food, lodging, translators, and supplies.
