10 Days ago New York blogger Jill Filipovic spent 4 days visiting the country of Haiti. The purpose of her visit: to uncover some of the deep rooted issues facing the country and investigating ongoing solutions to address those problems. 

One such solution that Jill explored was developed by local members of JCI Haiti. These are active Haitian citizens who have tired of the slow pace of development. Eager to see the creation of positive change in their country, they are taking action through the construction of a multi-purpose community center.
