About this Fundraiser

Hey gang. After attending a Mission trip to Ensenada Mexico I felt called to serve with a full time Mission. One of my greatest joys in life is helping others and I would like to invite you to share this experience with me!

I started this fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the funds I need to be a full time missionary and now I feel led to help fundraise for the YWAM Missionary efforts in East Timor. Here is a link to a google drive folder titled “The Future of YWAM Timor”.

At this point efforts from this fundraiser are going to help both purchase the property in Dili and develop it to accommodate more staff and international YWAM Schools. This is a big goal! I know I am just a small part in this and I’m pleased to say that $50,000 has already been raised! ANYTHING HELPS!

I also have a recurring donation goal of $800 per month to sustain me while I serve with YWAM. I feel I've been called to go and serve in practical ways as well as share my personal story of redemption. I hope that you will consider being part of this opportunity with me.

After studying Community Development though YWAM and staffing a Community Development focused Discipleship Training School. I feel led to continue serving with YWAM in Timor-Leste or East Timor. There are many ways to serve but the first 2 months of this journey will be focused on house building in Bahardeuk, a village of displaced people well outside of the capital Dili. The houses are $3000 USD in materials each. And I'm pleased to say we already have one of the homes paid for!! In addition to tools needed like hammers, gloves and angle grinder wheels that are hard to come by on the island. Other teams from all over the world are coming in to help with the 18 houses on the build schedule for 2019 but many more people are still needed.

In addition I look forward to helping in many other ways such as teaching English, renovating an eating area on the YWAM Base and assisting in agriculture work and projects. As many of you know I have been focused on aquaculture-agriculture techniques for the last year. I pray that I am able to help these people with what I have experience with and in turn learn what its like to farm on an island nation. I think the most important aspect of this as plans become finalized, will be for me to keep an open mind as to what I can do to benefit the Timorese most appropriately. But I'm so glad I can share concrete plans to help in these practical ways.

The generosity I've received has been incredible through this journey! I cant thank you all enough. This next leg will be more challenging than the last but I truly feel like this is where God has asked me to be.

Every donation is important and will enable us to be present and help others in need. Please pray about it and if you feel led to I would sure appreciate any and all help. DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE! I would also appreciate your willingness to share this with others who may want to participate.
