Two years ago, you contributed what seemed like an impossible sum so we could equip a big truck and embark on an even bigger mission. A mission to provide stable, secure living-wage jobs for resettled refugees and immigrants here in Atlanta’s backyard.

Then you gave more to outfit a second truck and that mission could grow.

Six months ago, you responded when we discovered we could lose our home here in the refugee community of Clarkston, Georgia. You gave over $100,000.

Yes, that’s $100,000!

Because of you, we could keep throwing lavishly welcoming events that highlight the dignity of our community. Because of you, we could continue building a world-class job training experience for the refugees and immigrants we employ. Because of you, we can create a true place of refuge in our little corner of the world.  

Now we can—and must—purchase our home!

You’ve already helped us do so much. YOU have BEEN the process from day one. Your desire to tell refugees that they are welcome here, that they are valuable assets to our communities, and that you love them is the very reason Refuge exists.

We have 60 days to raise the remaining $360,000 and purchase the Refuge garage from the bank that owns it.
